The NIght Before Thansgiving

Phil invited the grandkids to spend the night before Thanksgiving. It would be their first time spending the night together at our house. We have done one on one before which has been fine.

Not that this wasn't fine, it was just different.

A lot of talking together,
A lot of running together,
A lot of snacks together,
A lot of movie watching together,
and A lot of jumping on the bed together.

BUT not a lot of SLEEPING together one slept on the couch, and one in my bed until I had to move her.

We all slept through the night.

Love our grandkids and the joy they bring in our family.

Thanks for the sleepover Mallory and Ashton. :)

Just a little SNOW!!!

Snow SNow SNOw SNOW!!!
Salt Lake City and the Blizzard of 2010
We've lived in Utah for 35 years and I have never heard of a blizzard in Salt Lake. I called Draea and invited her over to help with Alex's wedding invitations and wait out the storm. It has been constantly snowing and blowing since about 5:00 P.M.
The counter is covered with invitations and we keep stopping to look out the window to see the snow (Just like elementary school, as if we haven't grown up).

This is real snow on the windows not dabbed on using paint.
Check out the back door. Just a little pile up.

Happy NEW YEAR

Party for the NEW YEAR! ! !
Sometime we just have to dance.

4-Wheeler

Talk about MEMORIES!!!
Ashton got a 4-wheeler for Christmas so we each (NEEDED) to try it. Big kids on small toys. What a lot of fun. . .

Christmas

We spent the morning over at Alyse and Ronnie's home. What a great time with wonderful food and family.

Kitchens

Phil had a great idea!!! Making kitchens for Christmas. It became a family project. So sorry I don't have pic of the process only the final result.

Reindeer

Two Christmas reindeer.
What a treat to have our grandchildren around us.
